The short answer
Araurakot is a large rectangular fortified area with traces of an old moat and brick walls east of Niglihawa; tradition links it with Kanakamuni Buddha's hometown.
Devdaha lies east of Lumbini across the Rohini river and is remembered as the capital of the Koliya kingdom, the home of Queen Mayadevi's family. Ramagrama is a tall brick stupa mound on a river bank, believed to hold relics of the Buddha and traditionally protected, not opened.
These three are best taken as a half-day on the eastern side, often linking Lumbini to Ramagrama and onward to Chitwan.
