The short answer
Kedareshwor Mandir stands in Komagane Miteri Park near Fishtail Lodge, named for the friendship between Pokhara and the Japanese city of Komagane. It is a pleasant place to walk, and on auspicious days you may see Nepali wedding ceremonies.
At Matepani, on a small hill a few kilometres from Lakeside, Bhadrakali Temple and a Karma Kagyu Buddhist monastery sit close together, a good example of Hindu and Buddhist harmony. The hilltop has forest, city views, mountain views and good bird and butterfly watching, and makes a nice half-day walk.
