The short answer
Besides natural viewpoints, Pokhara has several built view towers on hilltops. Common ones are Kahun Dharahara north of the city, Mattikhan, Panchase and Sarangkot in Kaski, Pachabhaiya near Lekhnath, Sirubari in Syangja and a tower on the Poon Hill route in Myagdi.
They are good for sunrise or clear afternoons, and most are reached by a drive plus a short walk. Choose one based on direction: Sarangkot for sunrise, Panchase for a high ridge and Himalayan panorama, Kahun for a quieter local view.
