Kailash and Muktinath by Language and Group · Plan it

What should you ask any Kailash yatra organiser before booking?

By Base Camp Tours, licensed Nepal travel agency (Tourism License 3121/080) · Updated · 1 min read

The short answer

Whether you choose a well-known group yatra or a private operator, the same questions apply. Ask which border route is used and how many nights are at each altitude, who the guides and drivers are, what the medical and oxygen arrangements are, and what the plan is if the weather or the border closes.

Ask for the inclusions and exclusions in writing, including meals, permits, vehicles and rooms, and ask how the operator handles a traveller who cannot continue. Sadhguru-led, devotional or community yatras can be meaningful, but the logistics still deserve the same checks. Compare answers, not slogans.
