How do you build a waterfall day in Pokhara?

By Base Camp Tours, licensed Nepal travel agency (Tourism License 3121/080) · Updated · 1 min read

The short answer

Pokhara packs several water features into a small area, so you can do a gentle waterfall-and-cave day without leaving town. Start with Davis Falls and Gupteshwor Mahadev cave across the road, then see the Seti gorge from a bridge, then continue to Mahendra and Bat caves, and finish with a boat ride on Phewa Lake.

The day suits families, seniors and bad-weather days: it is mostly short stops, there is little walking and the caves stay dry when it rains. Spread it over a morning and an afternoon with a long lunch in between.
