How does the Kalinchowk trek work?

By Base Camp Tours, licensed Nepal travel agency (Tourism License 3121/080) · Updated · 1 min read

The short answer

Kalinchowk is a Hindu shrine on a high ridge in Dolakha, reached by road to Kuri then a short climb or cable car. The trek runs Charikot to Kuri, then up to the temple and snow views, usually in three days. In winter there is snow, and the area is popular with Nepali visitors.

Dress for cold and wind. The cable car offers an easier way up; see the cable car section.
