The short answer
Pisang Peak stands above Upper Pisang village on the Annapurna Circuit. Climbers reach a base camp and a high camp, then take a steep snow slope to the summit. It is often seen as the classic first six-thousander in the Annapurna region.
Because the approach follows the circuit, acclimatisation is built in. The summit view over Annapurna II, III and IV and the Manang valley is superb. Conditions can change fast, with wind on the upper slope.
