The short answer
Nar Phu is a remote Tibetan-style valley north of the Annapurna Circuit near Manang, with ancient villages, monasteries and dramatic gorges. It needs a restricted-area permit in addition to Annapurna permits and is usually done as an extension to the circuit over about ten days. Nar Phu valley also connects to Himlung Himal.
