The short answer
Dullu and Dailekh are old towns in the Karnali hills with temples, stone monuments and inscriptions from the Khasa kingdom. They are linked with the Panchakoshi religious circuit, a pilgrimage route of five sacred places that includes shrines, caves and ancient temple clusters.
It is slow, local-style pilgrimage and heritage travel, best done with a local guide and a driver who knows the roads. Go in the dry season and expect basic lodging.
