The short answer
Ilam in the east is the famous tea region, with rolling green hills and estates open for walks and tastings. Kanyam and Fikkal are common stops. Coffee is grown in the middle hills, including Gulmi, Kavre, Lamjung and around Pokhara, and some farms offer tours and tastings.
Visit in the growing season for green slopes and ask about harvest times. Buy tea or coffee direct from the estate or cooperative.
