The short answer
Khumai Danda is a hill ridge north-west of Pokhara, reached from Hemja via Hile Kharka. It offers close views of Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna range and takes about three days with a night near the top. Trails are quiet and forest-covered.
Because it is near Pokhara, it works as a last-minute short trek when weather clears.
