The short answer
Khopra Ridge (Khopra Danda) is a quieter alternative to Poon Hill and Annapurna Base Camp, with a high ridge camp at roughly 3,600 metres and views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. It starts near Ghorepani and is usually walked in about five to seven days, with simple community lodges. A side trip leads to Khayer Lake.
It suits people who want mountain views without crowds and are comfortable with basic lodging and some altitude.
