Trishuli River Rafting from Kathmandu

Overview

Trishuli rafting is the most popular whitewater tour of Nepal. The experience will be of 4 hours and is of 38kms ride. A rafting trip on the Trisuli enjoys pristine natural beauty, scenic valleys, impressive gorges, unpolluted beaches, exciting rapids, and easier sections. Trishuli river is only 80 KM is the distance from Kathmandu and can be reached within 2 hours drive.

Originating from the Langtang Himal & running from just outside Kathmandu towards Chitwan and Pokhara. According to a legend, Lord Shiva created three springs by piercing his trident into the rocky mountain. Since these three springs are the sources of water for the river it is named after the Trishuli River.

Full Itinerary

07:00 AM:

Daily tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara/Chitwan leaves from Shorakhutee, which is also the tourist bus park in Kathmandu. The bus takes around 3 hours to reach Charaudi/Bairani which is the starting point of Rafting.

10:00 AM:

Reach the resort and get refreshed. You will be welcomed by a cup of tea/Coffee in the resort. Get relaxed for a couple of minutes waiting for other travelers to reach the resort.

11:00 AM:

You will be joining instruction by our experienced rafting guide before the trip starts. Kindly listen to all the given instructions carefully before entering the river. Change clothes for rafting and wear a life jacket with a helmet with a proper lock.

11:20 AM:

Your white water rafting in Trishuli starts now. The total time duration of rafting will be approx. 3-4 hours. Once the trip is over, you will enjoy the late lunch in the resort. You will receive a veg/non-veg meal as per your request in a buffet restaurant.

Our guide will offer you the different types of information during this rafting trip. You will pass through different rapids during the rafting in the Trishuli river.

2:20 PM:

Trip ends. Transfer to Kathmandu.
