Should I trek or take a helicopter?

By Base Camp Tours, licensed Nepal travel agency (Tourism License 3121/080) · Updated · 1 min read

The short answer

A trek gives you days of walking, villages, teahouses and a feeling of earning the view, but needs fitness, time and acclimatisation. A helicopter gives the view in hours, suits limited time, seniors or families, but misses the journey. Some people combine them: trek up and fly back, which saves time and legs.

Choose by time, health and what you want to remember: the effort or the view. Both are legitimate ways to see the Himalaya.
