The short answer
A short plan is four days: Kathmandu to Lumbini, Lumbini sightseeing, the circuit day to Tilaurakot, Kudan, Gotihawa, Niglihawa and Sagarhawa, then Devadaha and Ramagrama on the next morning, and a flight back to Kathmandu from Bhairahawa. A longer plan adds a village walk near Lumbini and a night in Chitwan on the way back.
Roads and drive times vary, so ask your operator for current times. If you are coming from India via Sunauli, you can start in Lumbini the same day. Always combine the circuit with the Lumbini garden itself and its monasteries.
